Editing pixels

After selecting pixels, you can edit them using the Pencil, Brush, or Paint Bucket tool. Or you can clone pixels, feather image edges, erase pixels, or crop an image.

You can change pixels one by one or change several pixels at once. You can also delete pixels.

To edit pixels one at a time:

1 Choose the Pencil tool.
2 Choose a color in the stroke color well.
3 Click the pixel you want to change.

To edit several pixels at once:

1 Select an area of pixels.
2 Choose a color in the fill color well.
3 Press Alt+Delete (Windows) or Option+Delete (Macintosh) to change the selected pixels to the color in the fill color well.

Note: You can also use the Brush tool to change the selected pixels to the color in the stroke color well.
